I’ve been living alone 12 years and counting after a divorce (I am 41 now). There isn’t much in this article that I haven’t tried already in terms of « self-care » or « self-improvement » – I do like the idea of writing one good thing that happened each day, and will try that now. Maybe something will change 🙂

I’ve been living on my own again for the first time in 10 years and I love it though I agree, there seems to be a distinct lack of structure! I’m kinda embracing it for now but realise, at some point, I’m going to have to start introducing small steps so it feels like I’m not living in an Air B’n’b! This is MY house and I LIVE here…

It’s beginning to feel very sacred, my space. I think when you truly value something, and you’ve been through so much up until this point, you become very cautious as to who you allow in to your little sanctuary. I’ve realised, too, that I like my own energy, my own company, which is so comforting because I now know I’m fully reliant on my wonderful self! ✨

And it’s so nice to here other woman are in the same position, coming into their own power and being fully present in their own comfort and being 🤩

I have never been married and no kids (plenty of fur babies though)! This article was refreshing to read with some really good points I had not considered. Thank you for the positivity!

I live alone now. My husband passed away 5months ago. Its a new normal for me.
I am figuring out how to do things he did that I didn’t. I miss him all the time.
I hope he is proud of me for trying the best I can do navigate life without him.
